Course content

Learner-facing material describes parliamentary practice through the authorities and credential frameworks each path names. Parliamentor does not present one jurisdiction or one manual as universal law for every body. When a lesson cites Robert's Rules, Mason's, Sturgis, Demeter, Mackey, Cannon and Keesey, Riddick, or the AIP Standard Code, that citation is intentional: the path tells you which source governs the scenario.

Public on-ramp. Start Here and Meeting Mechanics are open without an account (five lessons each). They explain why orderly meetings matter, how business moves on the floor, and how to choose a deeper path after lesson 5.

NAP credential paths. The membership exam path orients learners to NAP expectations and Robert's Rules In Brief, then builds toward exam-ready drills. The Registered Parliamentarian (RP) path adds five lessons on motion classes, amendment work, written scenarios, and bylaws-style judgment aligned to NAP RP preparation. The Professional Registered Parliamentarian (PRP) path adds five lessons on consulting posture, difficult meetings, opinion writing, simulation rehearsal, and client-facing advisories aligned to NAP PRP preparation.

AIP credential paths. The Certified Parliamentarian (CP) path uses five lessons for AIPSC orientation, comparative authority work, study planning, written drills, and service reflection toward CPP. The Certified Professional Parliamentarian (CPP) path adds five lessons on oral theory, presiding demonstration, performance planning, and comparative rulings under time pressure. The teacher credential path adds five lessons on transfer-first design, workshop planning and delivery, and evidence of learning for instructors pursuing AIP teacher milestones.

Organization skills. Membership and Participation and Chair Skills and Live Scenarios each offer five lessons on member rights, floor work, chair language, appeals, and mentoring after tough meetings.

Reference authorities. Six paths (Mason's, Sturgis, Demeter, Mackey, Riddick, Cannon and Keesey) each offer five lessons: orient, contrast, plan a reference log, crosswalk drills, and teach back without overclaiming.

Parliamentor is a study aid. Official exams, credentials, and governing documents remain defined by NAP, AIP, and your organization's adopted parliamentary authority.

We do not list artwork chapter by chapter: the same policy applies across tracks.
